Abstract
This study investigates how students with prelingual hearing loss design repair initiations. Differences in how students use other-initiations of repair in two classroom settings become apparent in (a) how frequently repair types (restricted and unrestricted) are used in the settings, and (b) how practices are adapted to the contingencies of the activities.
