I am a senior researcher at the Department of Culture Studies, Tilburg University.

I mainly work on Italian talk-in-interaction in istitutional settings: legal counseling, business meetings, Italian as a foreign language. In terms of phenomena I have analysed silences, overlapping talk, embodiment, and more recently, swearing.
