Dear all, Since 1996 I have managed the website Ethno/CA News which offered information on Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis: http://www.paultenhave.nl/EMCA.htm For various reasons I have decided to retreat from being the only person responsible for the site. Luckily, I have been able to form a small team to take over my responsibility. At the moment it consists of 4 students, Saul Albert, Elliott Hoey, Edward Holmes & Mea Popoviciu and one post doc, Joshua Raclaw, but new members will be most welcome! I will act for some time as an advisor of the team. Saul Albert has designed a new format for the site, allowing team members to add information on their own. It can be consulted at: http://emcawiki.net/ After October 1, the current site will no longer be updated, but it will stay online for some time. We are hoping that the relevant organization, notably ISCA, IIEMCA and the EMCA section of the ASA, will decide to support the enterprise, not only by adding links on their websites, bus also by providing some small-scale financing. Comments, suggestions, offers of assistenca, etc. are welcome: mail [at] paultenhave.nl I do hope that the new Ethno/CA News will be as useful as the earlier versions were. Best, Paul ten Have
