On 26-28 February 2026, there will be the International Conference of Conversation Analysis and Psychotherapy in Cracow, Poland. The plenarists include Steven Clayman and Arnulf Deppermann, with panel discussants Joanna Pawelczyk, John Rae and Sanna Vehviläinen.
We invite researchers and practitioners of psychotherapy and related practices to participate in the conference. Submissions welcome in all conversation analytical topics relevant to the theme “How Psychotherapy Works: Longitudinal Perspectives”. We also welcome conversation analytical studies that explore ways in which psychotherapy works, without explicit focus on longitudinal processes.
To submit your proposal, please complete the submission form (Abstracts should clearly outline the objective, methodology, key findings and relevance to the conference theme).
The deadline for submissions is on 1.07.2025 (CET). Acceptance of proposals will be announced by 31.07.2025 (CET).
