EM/CA Wiki offers information on Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis.
Firstly, thanks to:
- The International Society for Conversation Analysis (ISCA) for funding an RA position to help with historical data entry.
- From September 2015, EM/CA wiki's server hosting will be financially supported by ISCA.
- Thanks also to the wiki's current server hosts: The Media and Arts Technology Programme at Queen Mary University of London (July 2014-September 2015).
History
This wiki developed out of the Ethno/CA News website originally founded and maintained by Paul ten Have formerly Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, University of Amsterdam. From 1996-2014. A printed version was issued at irregular intervals from 1992 - 1996, then Paul's WWW-version was in operation from fall 1996-Summer 2014 initially on University of Amsterdam web servers then on Paul's private server.
Purpose
The EM/CA wiki is a medium for the exchange of information concerning publications, conferences and other items relevant to Ethnomethodology and Conversation Analysis among those who work in the field or have a strong interest in it. You are invited to contribute whatever information you want to share on recent publications, conferences, etc. If you have a specific information request you might also try to have it fulfilled by asking in the 'Discussion' tabs at the top of each page.
The EM/CAwiki can only be maintained if members of the EM/CA Community show their interest, contribute news items, and suggest ways in which it can be improved. Please do get involved, if you need any help using the wiki, don't hesitate to cont
