Details:
Working up – and working with – video data in EMCA,today and tomorrow…
One-day seminar, Stockholm University, March 4th, 2019
The seminar aims to bring together scholars from Sweden and beyond, and encourage discussion about video-based research in the perspective of ethnomethodology and conversation analysis. What are the current methods, from data collection to publication and dissemination? Which topic and settings have been covered? How do these methods and topics change and what could new directions be? As grist to the mill and as a starting point to collective discussion, we will welcome talks from six distinguished scholars from the field:
- Eric Laurier
- Helen Melander
- Asta Cekaite
- Christian Licoppe
- Leelo Keevallik
- Oskar Lindwall
The event will take place at Stockholm University’s Department of Computer and System Sciences (DSV) on Monday, March 4th, 2019. Information about the specific location will be given later.
So that we can welcome everyone properly (with coffee breaks and lunch), please let us know as soon as possible if you plan to attend. We look forward to welcome many of you at DSV for exciting discussions and new adventures in video data!
