22nd Conference on Discourse and Conversation Analysis: “Meaning in Interaction” (April 1 – April 3, 2020)

Dear colleagues,

The program and the book of abstracts of the 22nd “Arbeitstagung zur Gesprächsforschung” (Annual Conference on Discourse and Conversation Analysis in German speaking countries) have just been published: http://tagung.gespraechsforschung.de/programm.

The conference will take place from April 1 – April 3, 2020, at the Leibniz-Institut für Deutsche Sprache (Leibniz-Institute for the German Language, Mannheim/Germany). The special theme of the conference in 2020 will be “Bedeutung in Interaktion" (Meaning in Interaction).

Some of this year’s papers and data sessions will be given in English. However, German will be the main conference language and a passive knowledge of German is important to benefit fully from the conference.

The registration fee is 25 Euros (early bird, until March 8, 2020) and 35 Euros (regular, after March 8, 2020). You can register via http://tagung.gespraechsforschung.de/anmeldung. Please don’t hesitate to contact us via tagung@gespraechsforschung.de if you have any questions.

We would be glad to welcome you in Mannheim!
